With the scanning service, print items, such as photographs, or transparencies (negatives or slides) can be brought into the digital age.
Items that may be scanned include color images (images that are not photographs), grayscale or black & white images (images that are not photographs), and photographs or transparencies (negatives or slides). Photograph or transparency scanning service include basic-level photo retouching.
It is also possible to scan text and turn it into fully-editable documents, using OCR, or optical character recognition, technology, you can work with later. For example:
Your computer looses that report you just have to have, but you still have a printed draft. You don't have to retype all one-hundered pages! OCR it!
Not all text can be accurately read by a computer. Errors are inevitable. You may choose to remove these errors yourself, or you may choose to have it done for you, as an additional service.
